Services: Tengis Movie Theater

What: Movie Theater

Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Operated By: Ulaanbaatar Cinema

This is not the first movie theater in Mongolia or even in Ulaanbaatar but it definitely is the first MODERN movie theater. Older movie theaters had the old socialist feel that makes you feel like you have to clap in a rhythm simultaneously with everyone else in the theater. Anyways, after Tengis opened up, it immediately became the most popular hangout of the Ulaanbaatar youth. Here are some photos:

Service: Sky Resort

What: Ski, Snowboard, Golf Resort

Where: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Managed by: Sky Resort (MCS)

Mongolia has always been known for lots of snow yet there has never really been many skiers, or snowboarders in the Winter Olympics. Perhaps this is due to the lack of infrastructure that the country has. This has changed since MCS Group worked with Petrovis (Mongolia), Taihan (Korea), and Muju Resort (Korea) to open the SKY Resort in late November 2009. The place has been getting a good amount of traffic, partly due to the excellent shuttle service that is provided to and from the resort everyday, and has proved to be very popular. Mongolians are now even importing their own gear in order to become better. Perhaps we will soon see more Mongolian athletes at the Winter Olympics in 2014. Here are some photos for you to enjoy:

Get to Know the Country

Mongolia, the land of the great Chinggis Khan, was once the biggest empire in the world. Now, it lies in the ruins of the Soviet Union. This central Asian landlocked country is an island of democracy bound by communist and socialist giants. Since its official transition into democracy and a market economy in 1992, the country has slowly but surely developing. Currently, the country will have to rely on its abundant supply of minerals to boost its economy in the next few years.

But more importantly, this blog is written for the common person. We will show breakthroughs in development and milestones as we watch this Third World in Development transition into a major economics player in the world market.
