In 2002, soft drink giant Coca-Cola opened up it's first factory in Mongolia allowing the production of popular drinks such as Coke, Sprite and Fanta right at our doorsteps. In 2009, they opened up a new factory that can produce up to 150,000 tons of beverages in a year. Not only have products of the Coca-Cola become the most popular in Mongolia, but they also sponsor basketball leagues and such to help with recreational activities for Mongolian youth.
